We are seeking a seasoned Senior US Tax Advisor to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on US tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies to support business objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of US tax laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. The Senior US Tax Advisor will manage, including preparation and review, the filing of U.S. federal, applicable state, and local tax returns, including cross-border tax compliance filings.
The Senior US Tax Advisor will also prepare and review the U.S. tax provisions and analysis under IFRS for financial reporting purposes. Additionally, they will develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for providing U.S. tax advice and support with business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and domestic or cross-border financing.
The Senior US Tax Advisor will monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries by federal, state, and local tax authorities. They will also prepare and present responses to tax notices and audit findings.
Working closely with the Finance, Legal, and Business Development teams, the Senior US Tax Advisor will provide tax insights and support on various projects and initiatives. This role offers flexibility of a hybrid or remote work schedule.
