Taekwondo Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach to join our team at North Shore Taekwondo. As a Coach, you will be responsible for leading our athletes to success in competitive events and games.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out management duties to ensure a smooth and efficient training environment.
- Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions to enhance athlete performance.
- Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games.
- Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance to determine their suitability for our team.
- Present materials at conferences or symposia to share knowledge and expertise.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees through access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
