Job Title: Truck Driver - Goods Transportation

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Goodall Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility
  • Organized
  • Reliability

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
