About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at Survalent. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering training programs for our clients, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use our SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs for both internal teams and external clients, including SCADA system users.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical assistance to Sales and Support teams as required, and collaborate with the sales team to ascertain requirements for project engineering.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality and engaging training in physical and virtual classroom environments, ensuring trainees understand and can apply their knowledge effectively.
  • Training Materials Development: Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises, tailored to different audiences.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess trainees' understanding and provide feedback for improvement, ensuring they can apply their knowledge effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SCADA technology and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to training programs.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites to deliver training, approximately 25% of the time.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience writing training manuals, user guides, and job aids for IT solutions, as well as experience with Microsoft products and Adobe LMS or similar platforms.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to think outside the box, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Language: Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
