Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with special needs and provide support as required
  • Produce reports on security incidents and activities
  • Verify age identification of patrons and enforce regulations to maintain order
  • Monitor establishment activities and respond to security breaches
  • Operate security control room equipment and perform security checks
  • Patrol assigned areas and ensure the safety of clients and staff
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a security-related role
  • CPR Certificate and Security Guard License
  • Criminal record check
Working Conditions

This is a full-time permanent position that requires working at a physical location. The successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5 hour week.
