Oxford Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Part-Time French/English Teacher.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing individualized support to students in our French and English Programs. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in spoken and written French and English and be comfortable teaching up to Grade 8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students in our French and English Programs
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in language education
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, linguistics, language arts)
  • Strong French and English language skills, both written and oral
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in a language arts setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of two evenings per week and Saturdays
