At Island Health, we are seeking a dedicated and strategic leader to join our team as the Clinical Medical Manager. This co-leadership position shares responsibility for ensuring high-quality services across our healthcare sites.
About the Role: As a key member of our leadership team, you will work collaboratively with others to drive continuous quality improvement in service delivery. Reporting to both an Executive Medical Director and an Executive Director, you will be accountable for overseeing activities that ensure efficient, effective, and integrated program service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead and oversee activities to ensure program service delivery is efficient, effective, and integrated across Island Health sites;
- Link with appropriate Departmental Medical Leaders to address matters of physician governance, including professional medical practice issues;
- Establish processes and structures to engage physicians and staff in continuous quality improvement of service delivery;
- Monitor program budget and performance jointly with co-leader, and make course corrections when necessary;
- Ensure appropriate investigation and resolution of program-related Patient Safety Learning System and Patient Care Quality Office events;
- Co-develop and implement change management plans to engage and support physicians and staff through change;
- Oversee activities that advance technology and data use to improve service delivery using the Electronic Health Records (EHR) in collaboration with the Quality Systems team;
- Assess, monitor, and anticipate program resource needs and work with medical leaders and administrative leaders to prioritize these needs within available resources.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
