About the Position

CIMT, a local television station affiliated with TVA, is seeking a permanent sports journalist to join its team in Rivière-du-Loup. As a sports enthusiast, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and passionate team, creating engaging sports content for our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and write sports news articles and features
  • Conduct interviews with athletes and coaches
  • Produce and edit sports segments for our television broadcasts
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local and national sports news

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Strong knowledge of sports and ability to analyze and synthesize information
  • Experience with video editing software, such as Final Cut
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
