Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Member to join our Continuing Care Program team at the Strait Area Campus. As a Faculty Member, you will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical instruction in the Continuing Care program and other health programming, including clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver educational experiences for a diverse group of learners, including preparation, instruction, assessment, and evaluation of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, and participate in program marketing and promotion.
  • Provide academic and career advisement to students, and participate in committees and working groups as required.
  • Ensure health and safety practices and procedures are followed in the classroom, shops, and labs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of recent and related occupational nursing experience in long-term and home care settings.
  • Experience in providing performance feedback and working in a digital environment.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, and occupation-specific safety practices.
