About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at J.F.N. Ent Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
