About the Role

The Research Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Research and Engagement team by coordinating research and engagement activities, managing logistics, and providing administrative assistance. Reporting to the Manager, Research Projects, this individual will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of research projects, including the engagement and involvement of Indigenous communities to produce meaningful insights.

This is an exciting time to join the Research and Engagement team as we have a number of research projects underway exploring digital skills and AI training needs across First Nations communities in BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for research activities, including participant recruitment, venue selection, catering, travel arrangements, and ongoing support for staff, participants, and consultants.
  • Track project deliverables, budgets, and invoices, and collaborate with the team and external partners to ensure timely completion of tasks and accurate documentation.
  • Assist in the recruitment, screening, enrollment, and ongoing support of research participants.
  • Prepare and organize materials for research meetings, such as agendas, presentations, progress/funding reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Support the collection, organization, and management of quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and accuracy.
  • Assist in outreach efforts by compiling and distributing materials, conducting outreach, and monitoring responses.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Research Projects to oversee Regional Community Relations coordinators, allocate work, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support for strategic relationships, including researchers, advisory committees, funders, and external stakeholders.
