Cybersecurity Audit Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Audit Professional to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for conducting IT Cyber Audit engagements that critically assess management and internal control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct IT Cyber Audit engagements to identify and evaluate the impact of new and emerging technology and technology risk on the organization's processes and control environment.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the industry, regulatory, broad economic environment, and internal environment to provide insightful discussion points contributing to audit reports.
- Identify control deficiencies and provide a fair and balanced assessment of their magnitude, ensuring that all audit procedures executed are conducted in accordance with Corporate Audit Methodology.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain good working relations and actively participate in Corporate Audit change initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and maintain professional audit qualifications in line with industry standards.
- Typically between 5+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- IT Audit or technology-focused cybersecurity experience required, with professional designations such as CISSP (required), CISA, CIA, or other technology-focused certifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and data-driven decision-making skills.
