Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all meat products are displayed and priced correctly.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the display and pricing of meat products
- Wrap and package prepared meats for customers
- Weigh and measure meat products for sale
- Sell meat products to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Remove bones from meat and prepare special orders
- Price and label meat products accurately
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Clean and maintain the meat department area
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet sales and customer service goals
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and customer service goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
