As a Senior Water Treatment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team to design, construct, and commission water treatment, remediation, and reclamation projects.

About the Role

The Senior Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for providing senior-level engineering leadership, input, and support for project delivery. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality services that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for the design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment, mine water management, remediation, and reclamation projects.
  • Develop study reports, engineering specifications, and contract documents that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Review project documents and drawings to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare design work packages, including scope, duration, and level of effort estimates.
  • Assume Professional of Record (PoR) responsibility for signed/sealed engineering deliverables.
  • Support other engineering projects as part of the Ensero Engineering Team.
  • Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to participate in client meetings and project proposal development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and understanding of their goals.
  • Travel to work sites to interface with on-site staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Maintain system environmental health and worker safety compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
