Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of emergency responders in the Yukon. As the Emergency Response Coordination Centre Commander, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of pre-hospital care across the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality emergency medical services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the Emergency Response Coordination Centre.
  • Collaborate with other community agencies to build partnerships and improve emergency response capabilities.
  • Conduct quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in a supervisory role, with a focus on performance management and evaluation.
  • Experience in dispatching emergency services, including EMS, Fire, and Police.
  • Ability to provide pre-hospital care and community outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
