Ottawa Meal Kit Delivery Driver Opportunity

We are seeking part-time, permanent Meal Kit delivery drivers to join our team at Box Bus Inc.

This position requires you to have your own vehicle to use for work. Cargo Vans & Minivans are accepted.

Deliveries are in and near Ottawa, but no drops in Quebec, only Ottawa area and all in ON.

Typical km/day is an early morning start time, 6 hour days. Delivery window is 10am-8pm, Monday and Tuesday only.

Cold drops, no signatures just drop and take a photo. Returns must go back to the Warehouse the same-day.

Routes are assigned for weekly continuous work, Mondays and Tuesdays only.

  • A typical day with a full load, ~$150-$350/day. Load times will be 9a-10a.
  • Vans can take larger routes, up to stops.
  • That works out to $25-$35 per hour typically.
  • This is an essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
  • Days and times are not flexible.
  • The rates for this position are; $3-$3.25 per stop, 8 hour delivery window.

Requirements:

  • A safety vest/jacket is required at the warehouse.
  • Winter/All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season) are required.
  • You must provide a vehicle for the work. Cars/SUVs are too small and would require reloading. Vans are required.
  • You must be able to safely get in and out of your vehicle multiple times a day.
  • You must have a smartphone with a data plan.
  • Excellent English communication skills are required.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of courier experience in the Ottawa area.
  • A customer service background is preferred.
  • A can-do attitude is preferred.
  • Time management skills are preferred.
