Pizza Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Dominos Pizza of Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring a high level of culinary expertise throughout the team.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
