Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining ammonia-based refrigeration systems
  • Following a preventative maintenance schedule and tasks
  • Troubleshooting various problems and scenarios on a daily basis
  • Exploring energy efficiency in relation to refrigeration system operation

Requirements:

  • Refrigeration apprentice certification
  • Willingness to obtain 2nd class refrigeration plant operator certification
  • Ammonia experience an asset
  • General computer skills, including proficiency in Maximo
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to call-ins
  • Desire to pursue continuing education in refrigeration system operation and maintenance
