Electromechanic Job Description

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an electromechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, refurbishing, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Know and comply with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery or equipment, using manual and electric tools, in accordance with plans.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and failures on a preventive basis.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, schematics, documents, and procedures to determine how to proceed.
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery and premises.
  • Troubleshoot and replace motors.
  • Replace photocells with wiring.
  • Perform minor electrical repairs.
  • All other related tasks.

  • Have initiative.

  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability.
  • Have a good speed of execution.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Be able to work physically and in difficult climatic conditions.
  • Bilingualism (asset).
