About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Landscaping Laborer to join our team at PRIDE Industries. This individual will be responsible for performing various tasks related to grounds maintenance, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and edging around walks and flower beds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mow lawns with walking-types or riding mowers
  • Use a weed eater and pull weeds and maintain flower beds
  • Use a blower and manually pick up trash, leaves, limbs, and provide a clean and neat appearance of the grounds
  • Trim hedges and shrubs, edges around walks, flower beds, buildings and walls
  • Prune shrubs and trees using shears and saws

Requirements:

  • One year of work experience in grounds maintenance or knowledge of grounds maintenance standards, techniques and materials
  • Ability to work safely with manual and power tools, mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Ability to manage and accurately track material resources and time
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively and professionally on a team
