Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

Cineplex Entertainment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Digital Products and Experience team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, and Selenium, focusing on mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of our mobile apps.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile applications.
  3. Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile automation testing technologies and recommend their adoption.
  4. Mentor and provide guidance to other QA team members, fostering knowledge sharing and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. QA-related certification (e.g., ISTQB, Agile testing, Mobile Testing).
  3. 3+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools and utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
  4. 4+ years of experience working in automation as a QA Engineer.
  5. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts.
  6. Proficient in either Javascript, C#, or any other relevant object-oriented programming language.
