Job Summary

Hydro One Networks inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst - Supply Chain Co-op Student to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data and presenting results of studies, creating reports and presentations contributing to directional Supply Chain decisions, and participating in discussions and meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will have the chance to work with a talented team of professionals and develop your skills in business communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data and presenting results of studies
  • Creating reports and presentations contributing to directional Supply Chain decisions
  • Participating in discussions and meetings
  • Booking meetings and tracking actions, issues, risks, and decisions
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Delivering presentations to a wide variety of audiences
  • Assisting in development and implementation of business solutions requiring enhancements to existing processes or systems
  • Data processing assignments which may include maintaining, scrubbing, and extracting information
  • Assisting with monthly/quarterly reporting accountabilities associated with the QA process
  • Participating in the education of and ensuring that Supply Chain policies and procedures are understood and enforced by all lines of business
  • Contribute to change management initiatives including communications, education, and transition activities
  • Liaising with Hydro One clients, vendors, and service providers
  • Support end-to-end Supply Chain Services in any capacity required

Requirements:

  • Completion of 2nd or 3rd year
  • Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Masters students
  • Knowledge of various software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a detail-oriented manner
  • Sound business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and on a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing work priorities
  • Ability to develop co-operative working relationships, internal and external
