Student Energy Trader

Cenovus Energy Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as an Energy Trading Student. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in energy trading, working alongside industry professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.
As an Energy Trading Student, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our ETRM systems, maintaining and updating CMDB, technical and user training documentation, developing, updating, and improving Power BI reports and dashboards, and updating and improving ETRM SharePoint site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the energy trading industry and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to ETRM systems
- Maintain and update CMDB, technical and user training documentation
- Develop, update, and improve Power BI reports and dashboards
- Update and improve ETRM SharePoint site
- Currently enrolled in an Information Technology or Computer Science undergraduate program at an accredited post-secondary institution
- Available to begin work in May 2025
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS SharePoint, ServiceNow, MSDN, SQL Server, Allegro Horizon
- A multi-discipline program with meaningful, hands-on work experience
- Networking events coordinated by the New Grad Committee
- Structured goal setting and performance evaluations
- Opportunity to present work-term learnings to the Cenovus Leadership team
