Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team in a Permanent Part-Time capacity. This role involves providing person-centered nutrition care to residents in a Retirement Residence setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop nutritional care plans that focus on quality of life and nutritional well-being.
  • Review menus and propose changes to meet dietary needs, customizing diets for residents with specific ailments.
  • Collaborate with Food Services to ensure departmental and nutritional standards are met.
  • Recommend programs and services that improve resident care and departmental operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends in clinical dietetics through ongoing education and research.
  • Interact with Food Services staff to achieve overall objectives of the department.
Requirements
  • Willingness to work on a Permanent Part-Time basis, with a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited university or college.
  • Graduate of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
  • Registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, retirement home, or senior living settings is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and work within budgetary constraints.
