Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Buono Mangia. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, time management, and punctuality.
Working Conditions
