About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating and Air Conditioning Technician Assistant to join our team at JM MECHANICAL CORP. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Tradespersons and Apprentices: Provide support to experienced technicians and apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Safely transport tools, equipment, and other materials to and from job sites.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Alert other workers and the general public to potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clean Work Areas: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cleaning of machines and immediate work areas.
  • Assist with Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems.
Work Environment
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in various locations, including potentially hazardous and noisy environments.
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, including warehouses and job sites.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, and handling heavy loads.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
