We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at ONTOP DRYWALL & FRAME LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
As a Framing Carpenter, you will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and will be exposed to noisy and dusty environments.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Client focus, reliability, and strong communication skills
