Overview: The primary role of this position is to connect the product and commercial requirements of the Canadian sector with the global Product Line Management framework and methodologies. The Canadian Product Marketing Manager will ensure alignment with the global New Product Development (NPD), channel strategies, strategic pricing, and comprehensive Product Lifecycle Management processes.

In this capacity, the Canadian PMM will oversee the financial outcomes, strategic planning, and execution throughout the lifecycle of the products within the Canadian portfolio. Acting as the business leader for the products, the PMM will serve as the main link to the global PLM structure, ensuring process uniformity and the integration of Canadian products into the worldwide product portfolio. The Canadian PMM will guide cross-functional product teams in the implementation of product line strategies.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze the market landscape and competitive environment for the product
  2. Identify market segments, target customers, and uncover unmet customer needs
  3. Collect and prioritize product and customer requirements
  4. Articulate the product vision and develop a multi-generational product strategy and plan
  5. Establish product pricing strategies and set pricing levels and guidelines for sales
  6. Project volumes, market share, and revenue
  7. Ensure that revenue, profitability, cash flow, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved
  8. Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing communications, and customer support to meet objectives
  9. Ensure products align with the company's overarching strategy and goals
  10. Guarantee that the Canadian product portfolio is integrated into the global product platform, rationalizing where necessary and incorporating the unique performance and regulatory needs of the Canadian market into the global product offerings
