Job Title: Fire Equipment Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fire Equipment Technician to join our team at Dion Fire Extinguishers. As a Fire Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire safety equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect fire safety equipment to determine the requirements for repair or maintenance
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper functioning
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling
  • Steel-toed safety boots and ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
