Job SummaryThe Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) provides a professional service in laboratory analyses and interpretation in all areas of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine/Immunology.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to staff, physicians, internal and external customers
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in laboratory technology
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. If you have a passion for delivering excellent patient care and are committed to staying current with industry developments, we encourage you to apply.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Current certification as a General MLT from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
- 30 hours of continuing education credits every year
- Membership in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem assessment, customer service, and teamwork skills
