At MAJHA TRUCKING LTD., we are seeking an experienced Freight Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods from point A to point B.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation management, or a related field. Job Description

The Freight Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery statuses;
  • Coordinating with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries;
  • Monitoring personnel workloads and locations to optimize route efficiency;
  • Performing general office duties, such as data entry and phone support;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise during shipment;
  • Dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders, taking into account factors like weather, traffic, and road conditions;
  • Staying up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations;
  • Processing and transmitting information and instructions to coordinate vehicle operators' and crews' activities using dispatching equipment;
  • Recording mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses for each shipment;
  • Responding to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance in life-threatening situations.
