Job Description

The Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality care to patients with various injuries or disabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' physical abilities to develop effective treatment plans
  • Providing assistance to healthcare professionals during treatments and procedures
  • Carrying out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Processing claims and files, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Taking patients' general medical and ophthalmic history to inform treatment decisions
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to optimize resource utilization
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
