Science Workshop Presenter

At Scientists in School, we're on a mission to ignite a passion for science and engineering in children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. We're seeking dynamic and engaging role models to join our team as Science Workshop Presenters.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver interactive and inclusive science workshops that foster curiosity and creativity in young learners;
- Collaborate with our team to develop and refine workshop content and materials;
- Communicate effectively with teachers and school administrators to schedule and confirm workshops;
- Maintain accurate records of workshop attendance and participant feedback;
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Science degree or equivalent experience in a related field;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners;
- Ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 22kg, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle;
- Proficiency in using web-based applications and videoconferencing software;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
