Vernon Sausage Company LTD is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our sausage production facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Train and supervise staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Prepare production reports and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Coordinate and schedule activities of workers, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting work schedules
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Our production facility operates in a cold/refrigerated environment with a moderate level of noise. You will be working in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, surrounded by process control and machine operators, and food and beverage processing staff.
