Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data transformation and integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow between sources and destinations.
  • Architect and design data solutions using GBQ, Ascend, Collibra DQ/DG, Vertex AI, and Python.
  • Develop and deploy production-grade data pipelines using orchestration tools like GCP Cloud Composer/Airflow, CA Scheduler, and Informatica.
  • Maintain metadata management processes for effective data governance and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and machine learning.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Airflow.
  • Experience with developing and deploying production-grade data pipelines using orchestration tools.
  • Proven experience and track record as a Data Architect with expertise in GBQ, Ascend, Collibra, Python, AIML, and data patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skill with ability to describe complex concepts to a technical audience.

Salary:

C$ 138,000 annual base salary. Performance-based bonus may be available at target of 15% of base salary.
