Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Consultant to join our team at Almon Consulting Company.

Role Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confer with clients to identify their requirements and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions using ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize their effects.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in information systems consulting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, networking software, file management software, security software, database software, programming languages (Java, SQL, Python), and data analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application in information systems management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
