Job Summary
Keolis is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Repentigny. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with a quarter-day schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buses and other vehicles in our fleet.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical issues.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Recognized certification or a minimum of 3 years of experience as an apprentice mechanic.
- Certification in 'PEP' (Preventive Equipment Program) is an asset.
- Certification from the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) is an asset.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
