About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at The Yellow Chili. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing and effective communications materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Role: Supervise and mentor junior graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure high-quality work and efficient production.
  • Design and Development: Estimate time and resources required for graphic designs and illustrations, and adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs.
  • Storyboarding and Concept Development: Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions, such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products, and television advertising and productions.
  • Sketching and Illustration: Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, and establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, and consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Medium Selection: Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
