Job Title: Radiography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiography Technologist to join our team at Westminster Mobile Medical Imaging Inc.

Job Summary:

The Radiography Technologist will be responsible for operating various medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and mammography units. The successful candidate will work closely with radiation oncologists and clinical physicists to prepare radiation treatment plans and assist with the administration of radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and mammography units
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients or biological samples
  • Position patients for imaging procedures
  • Supervise technical staff and train technicians, assistants, students, or interns
  • Assist radiation oncologists and clinical physicists with radiation treatment plans
  • Wear radiation detection equipment to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials on biological specimens
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Apply radiation protection measures
  • Explain procedures and side effects of radiation to patients
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Criminal record check
