Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist/Procurement Quality Assurance Representative reports to the Procurement Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for planning, performing, and documenting surveillance activities on suppliers. This includes verifying and witnessing fabrication, inspection, and testing, as well as reviewing supporting documentation and records to ensure that specified requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues
  • Liaise with engineering teams to confirm acceptability of QA requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier audit results and corrective actions taken
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Engineering, preferably in a nuclear field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of practical experience in a relevant nuclear field
  • Working knowledge of CSA N 285.0, CSA N 299's series, and ASME codes
  • Advanced computing skills and functionality with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
