Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in School/Educational and/or Clinical Psychology or a Master's degree in School/Educational and/or Counseling Psychology. Registration or eligibility for registration by the College of Psychologists of Ontario is also required.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Psychologist/Psychological Associate with experience in standardized assessment measures, such as WISC-V, WIAT-III, and Q-Interactive. Proficiency in technology for assessment, intervention, and documentation is essential. Collaborative team experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary. Strong public speaking/presentation skills and sound judgment and analytical ability are required.

Additional Requirements

A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required. Experience with screening measures for literacy and math (DIBELS, Acadience, etc.), knowledge of relevant Ministry of Ontario policies and procedures, and certification in Violent Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) are considered assets. Training and experience in clinical interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), etc., are also beneficial.

Work Details

This is a part-time temporary assignment (0.80 FTE - approximately 4 days per week) with an anticipated start date of September 3, 2024, and an end date of July 11, 2025. The annual salary range for this role is $83,530 - $106,427, which will be prorated to the duration of the assignment. A comprehensive employee benefits and pension package is provided.
