Job Overview

Imperva's Security Analyst role is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to tackle complex field issues and combat automated threats targeting enterprise customers' web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.

The Role

We are seeking an expert who will analyze large amounts of traffic to websites, identify global correlations and patterns, and collaborate with internal teams to implement mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer skills, as well as intermediate to advanced SQL skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an Imperva Expert by learning everything about the Bot Detection platform and bot operators' attack methods.
  • Work closely with clients to understand the impact of automated attacks on their business and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate these issues.
  • Analyze customer network traffic, application designs, and applications to provide recommendations on mitigating Bot attacks.
  • Regularly collaborate with customers on security-related engagements based on their billable hours.
  • Participate in presentations with customers on a regular basis.
  • Contribute actionable intelligence to Inform future product enhancements through collaboration with internal threat research, data science, and product teams.
  • Use data visualization tools to create consumable reports demonstrating findings and action efficacy.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Bot Management.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a relevant technical field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker.
  • Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Ability to automate redundant tasks, streamline repetitive processes, and scale operations.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
