Category Strategist

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the electronics and technology market.
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and category profitability, aligning with the product lifecycle stage.
Position products in the category to maximize sales and revenue.
Source vendors and maintain positive relationships to secure incentives and promotional packages.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure products are priced competitively.
Identify market gaps and assess opportunities for new products and categories.
Manage the launch of new categories and ensure successful execution.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop in-store merchandising, promotions, and online marketing initiatives.
Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities with external third parties.
Provide regular reports on category performance and market insights.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience: 3 years of prior experience in product management, preferably in electronics retail.
Skills: Strong interest and knowledge in electronics and technology, ability to work under pressure, negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
