About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Specialist to join our team at The UPS Store #244. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and production of visual communications materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Production
    • Develop and produce high-quality visual communications materials, including graphics, illustrations, and animations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and brand alignment.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate all aspects of production, including sub-contracting and vendor management.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor junior designers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process files and paperwork related to design projects.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and team performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as graphic design or visual communications.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
