Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be standing for extended periods, working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in food service or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
