Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at MAPLE CREST INN. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and supplies.
  • Recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work requiring manual dexterity and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
