About the Role

We are seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at Hebert's Recycling Inc. in a warehouse environment. As a General Labourer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Materials Handling: Assist in the sorting, packing, and packaging of materials and products, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Machine Operation: Assist machine operators and other workers in the maintenance and operation of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require physical stamina, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling environment is an asset.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), work in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
