Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team at Elevate Drywall Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Helper will assist in various tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and assisting in demolishing buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing debris
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools
  • Assist in cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in noisy environments
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude
