Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Brenta Forming and Framing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and constructing concrete forms, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for concrete forms, using measuring tools and software
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work efficiently
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to work at heights, bend, crouch, and kneel frequently. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
