Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team at Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our neurophysiology department, you will be responsible for performing standard EEG recordings, sleep recordings, and portable EEG recordings on both pediatric and adult patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality EEG recordings in accordance with national standards.
  • Assist in preparing patients for neurosurgical procedures requiring EEG monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and reliable EEG test results.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience performing standard EEGs.
  • University courses completed and successful completion of a recognized EEG training program required.
  • Certification as an Electroencephalography Technologist (RET) with the Canadian Board of Registered EEG Technologists (CBRET) or equivalent registration.
